Customer experiences
We were walking by and saw some delicious looking pizza and could not walk any further to look for lunch, we knew we found the place to eat! We were able to seat ourselves on their outdoor patio and for the duration of our lunch, there were local musicians on the TD stage across from us so we got to enjoy background music! There was even a lovely breeze outside and we were able to sit in the shade. We really liked that they had an item on their menu which was half of the feature pizza of the day and your choice of Caesar or Estate salad. The food was to die for. If I could order their pizza every day for lunch, I would!
Kinda mid. Green pasta was the best pasta. The bread was not bad but they gave us 4 slices for 6 people?? Everything just felt like I’d rather spend that much money somewhere else. Salted caramel gelato was pretty good too. Everything else was just okay.
Just got to Charlottetown this afternoon. Walked around and decided on dining here. Warm lovely late September night We had the starter of foccacia with the basil butter and honey. To die for ! Then shared a Mushroom pizza It was wonderful. Great light Neapolitan crust Wonderful toppings. Great service. Thoroughly enjoyed it here !!!
⭐️⭐️⭐️½ Vincinato’s is one of those places where you walk in thinking, “This could be life-changing pizza” and walk out thinking, “Well… it changed my afternoon, I guess.” The highlight of the night? The complimentary bread at the start — which is both impressive and kind of insulting, because it peaked before we even got to the main event. The beer was ice cold (as beer should be, unless you’re some kind of medieval knight), the service was perfectly fine — not rude, not overly friendly, just solidly… there. Starters were good. Not life changing but in the upper Italian restaurants in the Maritimes. The pizza itself? Toppings and flavor, good. Crust? Amazing. But the undercarriage? Let’s just say if you picked up a slice too fast, you might need a mop. I like my pizza to bend slightly, not file for worker’s comp. All in all, it’s a “would go back” kind of place — but mostly for the bread starter and a cold pint. If they could just get the bottom of the pizza as crisp as their beer glasses, they’d be flirting with a 5-star review.
