I'm not sure who in this Cub makes these displays - but they need a raise and also an award. It's fun to come to this store and see the seasonal decor. I wish more Cubs had this spirit! Additionally, staff are friendly and the store is clean!

The racism from store management and security is palpable. I saw a manager and a security guard pushing around and roughing up a Black man for having a book bag. Rather than politely reminding him that he couldn’t have a bag in the store, they took it off of him, poured the bag out, barely allowed him to gather his property that they spilled out of the bag, and roughed him up as they pushed him out of the store. The treatment that I have seen Black people in this store have to deal with is disgusting and disheartening. This conduct is especially egregious in this Cub Foods. This company exploits the neighborhood while treating residents inhumanely.

This would be 3.5 stars if it were possible. The selection here is pretty good, but there's a lot of problems too. Currently, we're not allowed to bring in our big reusable grocery bag, and we have to check it at the door - this is really stupid. Hire more security if you need more security, I don't want to shop somewhere I'm treated like this. Constantly way too hot in here, no matter what season, please turn it down. I've caught my clothing or skin on shelving and displays, especially in places where they aren't in neat rows like in the produce section or by the checkout. The deli stock and floral selection seems pretty inconsistent from week to week, hard to plan in advance what we're getting. Please bring back seasonal or limited time sodas in the fridges by the checkout, I see rows and rows of untouched plain Pepsi and Mtn Dew there every week.

Their new policies are very unfriendly to the consumer. And I am not buying their standard “we take concerns seriously” response — it is being being copy-pasted to every single customer that is unhappy with the situation. Why not just have someone check receipts at the door? Or hire more security like the nearby Aldi has done? I say this as someone who used to be a big fan of this location. EDIT: Wow, who could have seen it coming… their copy-pasted response was copy-pasted in response to my complaint about their copy-pasted response. Shocking, I tell you. They should maybe have somebody actually read and respond to these instead of sending people to internal forms.
