Sad to say, but I feel this company scammed me. I used them before, so I felt safe to use them again. I had a signed contract, in August 2025, for a September 2025 car shipping date. The written contract was for $900 for the job, with me paying $100 down and $800 COD. The day before pick up, the driver called saying their truck broke down. I couldn't believe it!I tried calling other company's, but no one could pick up and drop off the car when I needed it. I called US Star Trucking, LLC, who booked the job, and all they said was they were sorry, but all the trucks are now charging $1600 to $1800. I had no choice but to be bullied at the higher price. They said they were able to use a company that would charge me $1500, but I would have to pay $700 immediately and $800 COD. I felt bamboozled and strong armed into paying and double the price. They then charged my card $728, saying there was a charge for using a credit card. I really thought this company was fair, since I used them before. But I have learned that they are capable of taking advantage of you in the end. And to make matters worse, I had to drive over 1 hour to pick up my vehicle and when I did, the battery in my car was dead! They blamed my car, saying the battery was old. I had the entire car worked on before shipping it out and the battery was fine. I believe the shipping company must have left a power source on, like a light, while loading it and the battery must have drained. Not only did i pay double for the car, but I had to pay almost $300 for a new battery! Please, beware of this company. Update: 10/3/25 I received a reply from US Star Trucking, the day after my review, asking for my contract number, as if they would do something about my experience. So far, I have not received any contact from this company. I guess the reply they sent, showing concern, was just for the review, not because they wanted to resolve anything. Smh...
