I am not much of a shopper, so searching for the perfect piece of furniture can be very frustrating. La-Z-Boy in Barrie was our last stop. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a friendly sales rep. (April). Her warm personality and knowledgeable approach clicked with my husband and I right away. She helped us narrow our search, making sure we were getting the exact recliner we came in looking for. She made herself available but did not hover. She encouraged questions but did not pressure. April paid attention, listened actively and was a top notch professional sales rep. I would highly recommend her and will definately be going back to La-Z-Boy Furnishings & Decor in Barrie.

Upon entering the Barrie store, we were warmly greeted by Carlene Robinson. We mentioned that we were just browsing and looking for a new sofa and love seat. Carlene pleasantly advised to take our time and tour the store and if we had any questions to just ask her. Carlene did not follow us around like they do at Leon's! We had several questions which Carlene answered and after viewing several brands she suggested that we have their design consultant Melody visit our home take measurements and prepare a floor plan presentation. We were impressed and purchased new furniture. Thank you Carlene and Melody we appreciate your help and highly recommend you both.

He made the entire process easy and enjoyable. We also had the opportunity to work with Melody, the interior designer, who was punctual, efficient, and truly excellent at listening to our needs. She quickly understood our style and helped guide us toward choices that felt just right for our space. From start to finish, the experience was seamless and positive. Highly recommend!

Purchased a Finley electric recliner 3 years ago and have it in my living room. I weigh under 200 lbs. Soon after purchasing, I felt the seat cushion had given out like it had been sat on for decades causing my legs to rest uncomfortably on the front of the seat frame. I thought that maybe I had been sold a used recliner. I had the seat and leg rest portion of the recliner replaced under warranty within the first year by an experienced and competent technician. The new seat has now given out again after less than 2 years!!! I am seeing reports online mentioning two cushion options which was not mentioned to me during the sales process. Regardless, no one would EVER want the poor quality seat cushion that came with my recliner. Mechanically, it works but is creaky. Why such an old company like La-Z-Boy has not been able to figure out a proper long lasting seat foam combination that will be comfortable for decades is beyond my comprehension. Their recliners are very expensive and are, according to the service technician, basically built the same as they were decades ago! Two seat cushions in 3 years is terrible quality!!!
