They claim to be hiring and are short staffed. There are shortages in classrooms/schools daily, yet they are extremely slow to hire OTs. As a fully qualified and experienced teacher in good-standing, it is incredibly frustrating to be waiting months to be hired when all I want to do is teach (and not as an underpaid emergency teacher). Meanwhile, principals and their staff are struggling to find replacements and students are having unqualified individuals in their classrooms. It is not new information that there are shortages everywhere; but shouldn't the UCDSB prioritize hiring and be streamlining the application process to rectify the issue? Applicants are going to move along and the system will continue to struggle.

They hired a racist teacher who said the n word multiple times and instead of firing her the moved her work (Ms. price) she also would bully students
