We needed help with medical expenses that insurance didn't cover. We had $3000 on a pocket. It was a procedure that had to be done it caused him lot of pain. United Way would not help. We have donated To the United Way for 20 years and had never asked for help until now. And we didn't get no help. We'll never donate to the United Way again

Next year perhaps post a sign on the sliding doors that states "United Way itself is closed, but VITA is still accessible at the side doors". How hard is it really? People stopped by and felt they couldn't do their taxes because of your laziness in doing so. If it's held in your building, why not make yourselves useful? You had one job.

United Way of central Iowa does an awesome job add helping lotu middle-income families get Services they need. The location itself is nice and well kempt, and the people who clean it doing awesome job. But their parking lot can sometimes be a real mess. We go to the Dental Clinic here, and the people who work at the dental clinic are always very nice, and do a great job.
