April RorieIām a driver who was stuck at Walmart because my truck wouldnāt start. I called Tyler because I thought they were professionals. I spoke with her, and I believe her name was Melissa. I explained to her that we think itās the starter, but Iām no mechanic. She suggested I start with someone coming out to see if itās just a battery that needs jumping. My batteries were good. I told her the lights and horn were working fine. She sent the battery guy anyway. He stayed for about an hour. He didnāt even know where the starter was located on my truck. I had to show him. And then he told me someone else had to come out for the starter issue because he was an apprentice. Why would āyouā send an apprentice to do a mechanic job? š¤Æš” Melissa called me back to tell me they found a starter but wouldnāt have it until the next day. Well, at this point, you canāt help me. If you are a roadside service company, Iād think youād have parts readily available to complete the job. Long story short, they charged us 200+ dollars. I found someone else to do the job the same day, and they brought three guys out, and they had the starter on their shelf. I was rolling with a new starter in under an hour. Donāt waste your time with these guys if your truck breaks down on the side of the road. Youāll wait until the next day before they get the parts needed to fix your issue.
