★☆☆☆☆ Absolutely do not recommend. NJ Tax Service gave me the worst tax filing experience of my life. I visited their office in person, but the staff were too busy chatting and laughing among themselves to properly input even the most basic information. As a result, my address was entered incorrectly, and I couldn’t register my CRA account because of it. I was specifically asked to provide my direct deposit information, which I did. But later I found out that it was never entered into the system at all. Why they even asked for it, I have no idea. I called CRA multiple times, only to waste time because no one could locate my info due to these errors. When I called NJ to resolve the issue, the tax agent didn’t offer help—instead, they got annoyed and told me it was my responsibility to fix it. There was no apology, no accountability, and their attitude was incredibly rude. They took my money but didn’t do the job properly. Just so you know, CRA has an official service where you can report tax preparers who act unprofessionally or cause harm to clients. If you’ve experienced something similar, I strongly recommend using that service. It was a frustrating and infuriating experience, and I will never go back to this place. If you value your time and sanity, go elsewhere. Avoid NJ Tax Service at all costs.
