Very pleasantly surprised. Rooms were spotless. Fantastic bed, very quiet, very relaxing. Wonderful tub, stand up shower was very nice. Downside toilet was difficult to flush.

Rooms were very clean but the fire alarm in our room went off twice. We don't smoke. Service desk came fast and informed it may go off if too humid in the room. All good though. Quick Service and we were close to restaurants.

The room had a musky smell .The toilet was right beside the door. Very tight. The heater in the bathroom was rusted and outdated. The shower was very small. I'm 5"11 My experience throughout the years is that if the bathroom is clean and spacey, then you have nothing to worry about. This place was nothing special. The pics online were a lot better than the actual place. It was pricey. I don't like saying bad stuff, but I would not stay here again. Good luck. Maybe you will have a better experience than I did. Maybe it was a 1 off.

We stayed at the travelodge because we were attending the conference in Simcoe. It is a standard motel style that is a bit dated, but they are doing renovations. When we arrived, the original room they provided was a bit musty because of the humidity. We spoke with the front desk, who changed our room right away to a newly renovated room. The new room was fine. Besides the issue with the original room, there is nothing else to complain about. They have a commercial gym attached, with a pool and a sauna, that you have access to, which is a huge plus. Something else we liked was the motel provided Dove brand soaps, unlike other hotels/motels that either have cheap branded soap or the wall mounted liquid soap dispensers. If you're not expecting the Ritz-Carleton, this is good budget accommodations. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again.
