Customer experiences
The ham/ salami and cheese focaccia is well toasted and buttered, with a hint of olive oil and lightly salted bun, saltiness of ham and cheese is well balanced initially. The bread is thick and soft. The portion is generous, and price is reasonable (€4) for focaccia. However at the end, it got a bit too salty. The Nutella, pistachios, and custard buns are very delicious as well, with the said gushing out of brioche. The price is also very reasonable, at €1.5 each. I would recommend the lemon slush, as it’s very refreshing and light. The interior is nice, staff are friendly and fast paced. Good place for a quick breakfast!
Came to Siena for Palio di Siena. If you've been drinking espresso in Italy, you can't go wrong in taste anywhere. But this is one of the two bars I would come for espresso because the pastries are fresh, the service is friendly (patient with tourist who speak quasi-italian, aka Me) and I just love sitting outside watching the city slowly move- you'll witness locals walking their dogs, old couples walking hand in hand, and tourist struggle to roll their luggage on the cobblestone. And they open early!
The best coffee in Siena! We have lived in Italy, Orvieto, for three years. Drink espresso two to three times daily. They have the absolutely best espresso I have ever had the pleasure of drinking. Very smooth and flavorful. My wife told me her cappuccino is “the best” she has ever sipped. Very friendly and efficient staff.
The coffee and pastries are delicious and a great price. The staff is absolutely the kindest, so efficient and caring. We are so thankful we tried this place out, we come nearly everyday and it is the best! Make sure you stop in even if there’s a line, they get you served quickly and kindly. Update: A year later and I miss this place terribly. I so wish I could stroll over and get a cappuccino and hug from them. Such a lovely caffe.
Torrefazione Fiorella is a espresso bar.
