Update: After the weekend the company reached out due to my complaint with Ashley Furniture. The customer service manager asked what happened and I explained. He apologized and explained the correct procedure and said they would reattempt delivery. According to him, the dispatch, and the new delivery guys I was not the first person from the original delivery team that had an issue from the same day. The second team of delivery guys are awesome! They evaluated, handled with care, and problem solved. They got the item delivered and we’re very pleased. Had that been my first experience easily would have been 5/5 stars. In this case, 4/5 due to unable to communicate with the company on the weekends. —————————————————————————— Tried to have my couch delivered through these guys (they deliver to WA) from a purchase with Ashley Furniture. We ordered this item in beginning of August and have been waiting for this item to be delivered. They showed up 15/20 mins earlier than expected (usually this a great thing) my husband and I were clearing the pathway into the area the couch would be. We just moved so we had some stuff laying around. The delivery guy was here less than 5 mins and said he wasn’t comfortable delivering it due to the second doorway not being bigger than he wanted. The item would fit, but it would be tight. We offered another room that had less maneuvers (straight away) and no turns or pivots and he made the same remark, we didn’t even have enough time to come up with a resolution or have them just delivery the item and leave. He told us to call Ashley and to figure it out and I asked about the delivery fee and cost of everything and he said this happeneds all the time they should be able to work it out. I made a quick call to Ashley while the we’re going back to their truck he said then we’ll mark as undeliverable. My husband was thinking of a resolution, while they were in our driveway and my husband walked out waving his arms and they kept going and didn’t stop. The phone number listed they don’t answer I called a couple of times and I left a voicemail. Ashley said they don’t operate in office during the weekend so they don’t have a direct way to contact them, or dispatch, or anyone regarding having the delivery driver come back. This is unacceptable! How can you operate a business without someone to speak to if something goes wrong during the delivery! You have collected my funds, didn’t even give us enough time to find a solution and deliver the item and could leave. Now I’m stuck on the weekend waiting to see how I can get my item that I paid for to my house but can’t because they have my possession and delivery fee without an actual delivery! Completely shady, because now Ashley has to find a way to contact them but no one works on the weekend that can assist (outside of delivery drivers) To add the delivery driver was respectful and nice during the encounter, but we could have had more of a dialogue and a couple minutes to figure it out before quickly leaving and ignoring my husband trying to get their attention in the middle of the road. To the owners, this review is in my maiden name, please provide a contact number to which you’ll answer to and we can further discuss this manner.
As I was following this truck, it stopped, and as I started to slowly move around it, it moved up and parked illegally so as to block the only way around. I stopped, and as the driver and passenger got out, I politely asked if he could move back a few feet so I could get around. (There was such a gigantic area for him to have legally parked in!) He shrugged and said he couldn't until his passenger coworker returned--for safety reasons (another shrug), and said they could block the street for 30 minutes if they wanted. Then he invited me to call the police if I wanted to do anything about it. Finally he and the passenger continued away from the truck. They then proceeded to drag the customer's belongings across the ground (see pictures). Completely baffling. If you want to let sloppy miscreants into your home to handle your belongings, hire these guys. Otherwise, steer clear! Follow-up (response to the owners): Thank you very much your for your prompt reply. This encounter occurred on NE 9th Ave very near Prescott. Please note I only interacted with the driver (shorter, lighter hair in the provided photograph).
Joseph and Lorezno delivered a table and chairs and did a fantastic job. This is our second time using this service and both times it has been quick and efficient. The delivery folks are respectful of our stuff and polite. Thank you!
Consider yourself warned. Their first delivery resulted in 3 non-English speaking very young men who couldn't read the instructions ruin the furniture they were delivering from Dania and installing, which left us with a bed that was jacked in the air and unsleepable until the following week when a new bed was ordered. The crew was unaware that my husband is bi-lingual and understood all of their conversations and profanity in Spanish. When the company arrived the following week for a 2nd time, there was a crew of two with no knowledge of the previous situation that was supposed to be communicated with them. We were feeling real confident when one of them said that he knew nothing as it was his 3rd day on the job. Lovely. They almost broke one of our glass doors, almost hit a ceiling fan and ruined the threshold going into our house. Once again, they were completely inappropriate in the fact they were speaking Spanish and talking in a poor light of my husband. I understand it is hard to find good help these days but I am only writing this to help someone make a decision to use this company in the future or not. We never heard from the company and I WOULD NEVER, EVER recommend them or use them again.
