My wife and I have driven by Shoeless Joe's numerous times wondering why the parking lot is always EMPTY, and after eating here tonight, I completely understand. The food is DISGUSTING. I'm not sure if the chef doesn't care or has given up. Our calamari was extremely over-cooked(photo attached). It was very hard, not the usual chewy and tender consistency of properly cooked calamari. Even the 'tempura' crusting tasted burnt and flavourless. Both of our french fries tasted like they had been reheated after being cooked yesterday (you know when you take food home, microwave it the next day and they are soggy, mealy and flavorless? Yeah, they tasted that). The tossed chicken fingers had a very weird consistency, we each ate 1. At the end, I had to go track down our server and ask for the bill. She was standing behind the bar, watching a leafs game, aimlessly wiping glasses for 10+ minutes. When she noticed 80% of the food wasn't eaten she couldn't even be bothered to ask if everything was Okay. Everyone has given up. All in all, there was about 5 tables at 7:15 on a Saturday night, with a Leafs game on. Now I understand why.

Waitress was very kind and thoughtful. Food was good and enjoyed by everyone. Drinks were going down well and tasty in to of it. Kids were welcomed and well taken care of as well. Bathrooms could be cleaner. But other than that we had a pleasant time and sure will be back.

We noticed our table wasn't cleaned properly, waitress was hesitant on giving us our drinks which was a blue jumbo freezie and a pictcher of beer due to amount of alcohol, ketchup was not opened, we asked for no tater sauce or coleslaw for the fish and chips and it was brought out with coleslaw was touching the fish and chips, ordered the Philly cheesesteak and it was cold, fish was cold as well when it was brought to table, waitress was also constantly in the kitchen area instead of floor when there was me and my partner at 1 table and another table of 3. Also took waitress forever to check on us and the other table. Bathrooms were also very inadequate, men's bathroom 1 urinal and paper towel dispenser were out of order and woman's bathroom 2 stalls and 1 sink wer out of order. Waitress was sitting at the bar and not doing anything with the dirty dishes on our table. Also said they close at 9pm on weekdays but sign and website says 10pm

We had an awesome experience for dinner tonight. Hailey was excellent! She was very friendly and helpful. We needed to have our dog with us and the staff were supportive and sat us on their patio. The food was great. Best chicken tenders ever according to our teenager. Fast, attentive service. Great spot!
