Review for Tomlinson-Cannon I can’t recommend Tomlinson-Cannon enough for roof repairs. I had a few small jobs to take care of in order to meet my home buyers’ requirements before closing. I reached out to at least 10 local contractors, but most either ignored my request because the jobs were “too small”, or quoted me an outrageous $1,700-$2,000. With my closing date just days away, I was frustrated and stressed. That’s when Tomlinson-Cannon stepped in. Their operations manager, Mark, came out promptly to give me an estimate. He was fair, honest, and quoted me just $300. Even better, once he understood my tight timeline, he immediately scheduled the work. The following Tuesday, two workers arrived on time and completed the jobs perfectly. Although I’ve since moved to North Carolina and may not need their services again, I still want people in Iowa City area to know about this company. From the friendly receptionist to the hardworking crew, everyone I dealt with was professional, trustworthy, and genuinely helpful. If you need a contractor, don’t waste time shopping around-call Tomlinson-Cannon. They truly went above and beyond, and I am so grateful for the peace of mind they gave me during such a stressful time.

Installed drain for sump pump using 20 feet of 6” PVC piping. Work was done in about two hours, the guys cleaned up after themselves and even watered the grass. Some issues getting scheduled but they ended up swinging by at the end of a Friday to get the job done. Came with two year warranty. This company also installed an in- ground basketball hoop (concrete pad) for my neighbor.

We are so pleased with Tomlinson-Cannon . They recently installed new shingles on our house, garage, and garden house, and EPDM on the flat roof of the sunporch along with new skylights, spouting and leaf screen. We particularly appreciated Matt Pemble, Project Operations Manager for his integrity, knowledge and personable manner.
