I work for a large multinational engineering and built infrastructure design consultancy and consider myself as someone who has experienced a broad church of design capabilities. We were recommended to use Tobi for the design of our house which like many self builders is the culmination of many years work and saving. Tobi has helped us through the design process, listening carefully to what was important to us and helping us save money on the areas which were of lower priority. I was particularly impressed by the speed at which Tobi was able to re-layout rooms to make the most of the space we had, ensuring that the way we will use the house was carefully considered. Following Tobi's advice we made our own planning application which despite being outside of the village boundary passed first attempt on the target day. I am sure that this is related to the way that the building aesthetic compliments the village location. We have recently taken our designs to our timber frame suppliers and have found that the design needed minimal alterations, the suppliers have been impressed with the design and paid compliment to some of the 'wow factors' achieved in the space envelope.
