I rented a home managed by TMG for three years. I genuinely loved the property and was a responsible tenant who paid rent on time, maintained the home, and even referred others to TMG. I’ve since retracted my referrals due to the poor handling of my move-out. I gave formal notice on May 6, but didn’t receive move-out instructions until June 3, just two days before I was scheduled to vacate. I made multiple attempts to contact TMG — including six phone calls, four texts, and one email — all of which went ignored. This led to last-minute confusion, a rushed move-out, and unnecessary stress. When I was finally told what I owed, there were no payment instructions, and the online portal didn’t allow me to pay. I had to make two separate in-person visits just to drop off keys and settle the balance; all of which could have been avoided with basic communication. There was also a garbage charge added to my bill beginning in November 2024, around the time the neighboring unit became vacant. I raised this issue repeatedly (text, phone, and in person) with no follow-up whatsoever. To make matters worse, I was charged for not refilling the oil tank, even though move-out instructions made no mention of it. A December 2024 text from TMG stated the furnace would be replaced with gas in spring/summer, suggesting oil may not even be needed. I sent a formal, written complaint to TMG outlining all of this. As of today, I have received no response. After three years of tenancy, I expected better communication and professionalism. Instead, I was met with disorganization, silence, and unfair charges. I can no longer recommend TMG to future renters.

It’s clear he cares about doing things right and making sure you’re taken care of. The signing process was easy as well.
