I booked an appointment 2 weeks ago after yoga in the same plaza. From the moment I walked in I received exceptional attention. When I got in for my appointment I was promptly seated in the stylist’s chair. Caitlyn and the other ladies had the consultation with me so they could meet my expectations. My hair was mostly natural growth with highlights at the bottom. They listened to my concerns about damage and wanting a warm colour. I had realistic expectations but was thoroughly impressed with the outcome. Throughout the service it was great to see the ladies work as a team and assist with questions and even coming over to the chair to check on the lightening process. Caitlyn also took the moment to remind me to use colour safe shampoo products so my colour doesn’t wash out. She educated me about the products that I was currently using and how it affects the oils on the scalp. She checked in with me several times to ensure I was comfortable. Overall, one of the best experiences I’ve had in a salon. We have already booked in our follow-up appointment for a refresh before heading on vacation. Thank you so much to the team at Tinted Love.

Caitlyn did an amazing job blending my previously highlighted (and apparently coloured) hair with my natural dark roots and a patch of white hair. The result was seamless. I really appreciated her attention to detail, as well as the input from the other staff she consulted with. Everyone was incredibly warm and welcoming, and the salon itself was spotless and relaxing. Overall, a fantastic experience. I’ll definitely be back 🙂

I thought about not posting this review. However, they really didn’t do good work. Black box dye to a light brown with blonde highlights that’s what I wanted. They assured me when I phoned they could do it in one appointment. $900 later and two appointments later my hair is orange, and red mix matched with about seven different shades of red and orange with a few blonde highlights up top but basically nothing else. So I went somewhere else to see if they could fix it. It’s going to cost me another $1400 to fix the mess they made. So if they couldn’t do it, what I wanted, they shouldn’t have told me they could over the phone. I’m beyond angry over this. What a waste of money wouldn’t recommend this place to anybody. Oh, by the way, when I got there she said they could get me to a light brown. She also said she couldn’t promise results???She would try and get me as light as she could. If light means 15 different shades of red and orange - wow. Not impressed. Your response perfectly proves my point — rather than taking any accountability, you chose to insult a paying client and hide behind excuses. I was completely honest about having black box dye when I booked, and your staff still promised over the phone that they could take me to a light brown with blonde highlights in one appointment. You’re a hair salon you do colour correction. This isn’t the first time you’ve taken black box dye out of hair is it? I really wasn’t asking for anything out of the norm or for a miracle. That’s why I trusted you. You can’t take $900, deliver uneven red and orange hair, and then lecture me about “expecting miracles.” What’s actually challenging is paying for professionalism and not receiving it.
