This was a zero star experience for us. Don't go here if if you have a medium/large breed. We have had wonderful experiences with multiple vets and groomers who our dog loves, this place on the other hand was scary. The person who greeted us at the counter took the leash on our puppy and immediately started pulling him. He was visibly uncomfortable and distressed. Instead of being gentle and calming, or even being kind to him, or even addressing him directly or trying to get to know him, the staff member just pulled the leash harder and started to try and drag him up a flight of stairs. It started to feel like it could turn violent if we weren't there to witness the behavior. We were super uncomfortable and didn't feel safe leaving him in their care, I grabbed the leash back. When our dog immediately ran to snuggle in between my legs, another staff member who was watching said "Aw, he's shy." I was horrified. I responded and said he's not shy, clearly he doesn't feel okay with you trying to drag him up a flight of stairs. Honestly I don't know if we just got an ignorant, terrible staff member or if this place just has no experience working with dogs who are not tiny. Our dog is super sociable and outgoing, and loves people and other dogs. It was such an awful experience, I couldn't believe the ignorance about how to even make a connection with a dog. I'm so glad it happened in front of our eyes so we could get him out of there, instead of something horrible happening behind closed doors that would have traumatized him around getting his nails trimmed.

We’ve taken our small dog Sugar here twice for grooming and were happy both times. They offer a 7-day fixup policy, which is amazing. The staff was kind, meticulous, and very responsive. Would definitely come back again!

Our dog’s go to groomer around dt area! Always satisfied with their work and great customer service! They also offer doggy day care if need. Our little dog’s always excited to go to their place :)

My puppy is 10 months and 6 pounds and he has only been groomed a couple times. We decided to try Dog World for grooming after reading positive reviews and are glad we did. They explained everything clearly and upfront and were very kind and patient in listening to my preferences and requests for my tiny pup. He came out looking like a champ and walked down King West like he owned the street! Thanks for a great experience Dog World!
