I stayed here 5 nights in October with my partner and my sister and we had the absolute BEST time! This hotel is in a perfect, beautiful location right across the street from Santa Monica Pier. There are plenty of good restaurants and entertainment within walking distance. The hotel does charge for parking as do most places in this area but there is a lot of upfront info provided about the rates on their website when booking. We decided to not bring a vehicle with us and just walk most places and it worked out perfectly. I highly recommend renting bikes and riding down along the beach on the bike path. The rates for bike rentals through the hotel were way better than any other places in the area. The hotel itself is beautiful and all the staff were very accommodating, friendly and worked with a sense of urgency anytime we had a request. We felt valued and prioritized the entire stay. Our room did not come with a fridge or microwave to start but they were very easy to request and were quickly brought to us. The hotel also provides plenty of beach towels upon request as well as many pool towels always stocked by their lovely outdoor heated pool and jacuzzi. Our room was in this beautiful garden area in the back of the hotel it was very quiet and peaceful. My first trip to California was amazing and Shore hotel was no doubt a big part of that. I honestly can't wait to stay here and visit Santa Monica again!

We've stayed at this hotel several times and always look forward to going back. The location is great and the hotel is gorgeous. Sitting poolside at the beautiful new bar is such a great way to end the day. Also don't miss the food. Always terrific. The thing that makes this hotel, however, is the staff. Down to the last body, you could find a more professional, accomodating staff. We appreciate every one of them. Special thinks to Adriano for always making us feel so welcome!

Great value and location! Fantastic location with great access to beach, pier, and all of the main spots in Santa Monica. Some of the rooms are right on Ocean Ave, but there was no street noise with the balcony door closed. Live music in the lobby on weekends, bikes available, and helpful staff. I rarely ever leave reviews, but I knew this time I had to! I haven’t stayed in a hotel in over a year, and honestly I was dreading it. I love to be home and haven’t had the best experiences at hotels. But i have to admit this hotel is amazingly clean! I believe her name was Sara who was at the front desk. She was so nice, and made sure my experience was pleasant and comfortable. Definitely coming back for another get away!
