Meredith with The Sycamore Foundation is a life-saver for me! I don’t know what I would have done with the old house if he’d not come to help save it with all the hard work he and his crew did for the mold remediation! I sought other companies who either refused or wanted to charge fees so extreme made me feel it was hopeless. I was referred to Meredith, from another company as an expert in the field that they trusted, and said they would appreciate his eyes on the issues before their work could be done. I was greatly relieved the first time I met him after he inspected the issues with the crawl space and severe mold issues. I was beginning to think I would have to tear down the old house I’d just acquired, but he helped me see it was in fact savable and worth saving! I’m so relieved and happy about it! Meredith also alerted me to things about the property I, nor former inspectors, had noted before. He’s an observant and conscientious person who I believe always does the very best for his customers. After cleaning the whole crawl space of debris, and the physical removal of mold from surfaces, treating with top line products, using air scrubbers and more than I can remember. He then encapsulated the area and it looks great, ready for next steps. Meredith continued offering advice and help beyond what I had expected or even knew about. I’ve been studying the subject for the past month and have a greater understanding and appreciation of this very needed work. I can only commend and thank him and his crew for all they’ve done! This is very dirty and even can be dangerous work: I didn’t flinch for a second when he told me the cost. I knew it was worth it and was reasonable to me in light of the former offers from bigger companies. The scope of the work, scooting around on your back in the dirt cannot be easy, plus it takes a brave person too! This old house has been a big job for them, and because of its issues, still has to go another step further, which would not have been possible without his first work. I’m so thankful to be able to move forward now. Meredith is worth his weight in gold! I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ; it is He who I prayed to for help, and Jesus answered my prayers! My wife and I are incredibly grateful for The Sycamore Foundation and their amazing work during the *historical flooding* in early April. We had never experienced flooding before, and to say it was overwhelming is an understatement. Over 800 gallons of water had invaded our basement, and we were at a total loss—until Meredith and his crew showed up. From the moment Meredith stepped into our home, he was calm, respectful, and attentive. He treated our space with care and made sure we felt informed and comfortable every step of the way. He was a true lighthouse in the storm, patiently answering all our questions and easing every concern. The Sycamore Foundation worked efficiently, professionally, and with genuine compassion. Their quick and thorough work allowed our contractor to step in soon after and remodel the basement without any issues. Even our contractor was impressed with how clean and ready the space was. We hope to never need water remediation again, but if we ever do, Meredith and his team will be our first call. Highly, highly recommended!
