Summer 2025 What more can I say. The Spa is more than an appointment, it is an experience that you shouldn't miss so make an appointment prior to your next visit to St. Andrews, NB. Karen, as always, you make my day as soon as I arrive and I thank you for your cheerfulness and seeing that I am comfortable. Thank you Chanel, you are magical and I can never quite describe the luxury of having you do my pedicures. A new and special treat this summer was Kristie who did my hair. Kristie is the loveliest woman who excudes personality and warmth but better than that she skillfully tamed my hair and gave it a wondrous shine each and every appointment. I absolutely recommend The Spa at The Algonquin. Going to The Spa is one of my most enjoyable experiences when I am in Charlotte County for the summer. From the moment I enter, Karen starts my visit off perfectly with her very personable greeting, a hot cup of tea and then checks to make sure my visit was a pleasure when I am leaving. Jessica B. listens to my concerns and then does an amazing job with my hair. Chanel takes me to a place of absolute delight when she does a pedicure. I just need to stop talking and enjoy. She always does an immaculate job on my gel fill as well. Highly recommend The Spa.

I want to say all of the amazing things about this spa! The atmosphere, staff, professionalism, everything is welcoming and peaceful. I had the 3-hour relaxation package, and I cannot stress enough that you need to request Liz. She went above and beyond and made this tired Mama feel beyond relaxed and calm. I will be bringing my girlfriends back with me!

I had booked a some Services for a surprise for my partner. She deserved a couple Hours away from the family and relax. I had booked it as a surprise and explained it to the lady I booked with. 1 60 massage and 1 pedicure. My partner finished her morning and I had asked “how was the pedicure? Massage? “ looking for bonus points and recognition:). When I was surprised that she enjoyed the massage but never received the pedicure. I called the spa to ask why they never gave my partner the pedicure and they explained we don’t tell people what is pre ordered. So if you booked something for a surprise it’s not our responsibility to Make sure they receive it. I said ok no worries …then the lady said I still have to charge you 50% because of the day of cancellation policy. I believe this is a scam …how can they charge you For service not rendered.

So unprofessional!! I tried calling two or three times before my arrival and left a couple of messages. It took them three days to get back and they gave me a nail appt at 1:45 and a pedicure appt at 4pm, amazing! I got to my nail appt 15 min late and they told me they could only do an “express” manicure which was the difference between not having a hand massage. Fine. When I was in my appointment, the aesthetician started filing my nails and I asked if she could make them the same length. She said she really only had time for a ‘quick touch-up.’ Ok cool, what exactly am I paying for then? If you own a nail salon, or any appt based business really, allow your guests some time to arrive. If you’re going to book your clients back to back to back then at least have the courtesy to let ppl know that they won’t be served if they’re literally a second late for their appt. Completely classless place, save your money and plan ahead to get your aesthetics done before you travel!
