Customer experiences
I love this place! I went for the first time and Lori helped me. She was great. I love my new sandals. The most comfortable I’ve ever had. Will definitely be going back!!!!
We were welcomed immediately upon entering the store. Beth was professional, courteous and a pleasure to deal with. My wife Jane bought a pair of winter boots and another pair of boats. Thank you Beth for your great service. We will definately recommend the store.
Went in today intending to purchase shoes for a wedding and new shoes for work. Went in and made eye contact and nodded to the two staff people. I was not greeted/acknowledged at all. The staff socialized with each other, showed off to each other things they had purchased, discussed family. I walked around, around where they were standing, examined many shoes and boots. I had brought socks with me to use to try things on. When I made my way to the lower floor, the staff came down their back steps. Did not speak to me, as I continued to pick up and examine products. I gave up and headed to the door, and then someone said “are you doing okay”? Then someone said “bye”. Shop local? No thanks. The staff here should go across to the Lighthouse bookstore. The owner there knows how customer service works, she’s super welcoming and friendly.
This is a small business that has survived the pandemic shutdown and offers superior service to visitors and local residents. The store is neat and clean, has a very good selection of shoes, and the owner goes out of her way to ensure you are satisfied with your purchase. They even have a return/exchange policy for most items. Friendly helpful people, great products and superior service in a safe manner. The store is divided into an upper and lower level, so there is a small flight of stairs to negotiate. Parking on the street or at the rear. The kind of service and selection you can't find in a big box store.
The Shoe Store is a shoe store.
