Well, the best way to put it, this place is not meant for everybody. It may please certain type of people. Heard it’s one of the oldest in London and decided to stop by. The place does look vintage. Even the service feels vintage, is the best way to put it. Don’t take me wrong they seem to be good people. It doesn’t go along with what we would define hospitality in this day n age. It caters to a specific niche of customers.

Love the vibe here- a nice mix of people from different ages and walks of life with a very laid back and classic tavern atmosphere. I highly recommend visiting when Hot Sauce plays (they play some hot jazz) every few Sundays and you can get $6 craft pints. Just bring some cash to tip the band and go enjoy yourself. It can be hard to find seats but you can always dance if you cant find a chair. The servers are always friendly and quick and the beer is cold.

My husband’s band NUB opened up for ‘63 Monroe and Dolly Mix at The Richmond Tavern this past Friday. Great venue! The sound was amazing in there and loved the atmosphere. All the locals were friendly and added to the charm of this historical establishment. So happy to have been able to experience it!!

Great atmosphere and always live entertainment from the roaring 20’s to death metal. Whatever you fancy music wise they’ll have it. Beer on tap is always cold.
