It was in a deal steak and cider for £20 which I thought was such good value for money, especially with the endless selection of thatchers they had on offer! The interior was also beautiful!
Maria CollierVisited the Railway Inn after the Thatchers tour. The restaurant was stunning inside. The drinks were excellent quality and the mains were good. We were, however, let down by the long wait for food and slow service (it would've been nice to have just one person serving us instead of 4/5). The desserts were also a let down and not worth the money paid (£8 for 4 not great petite fours was overpriced). That said, they had people waiting for tables so it will never be a problem. Think we would return for drinks as it would be nice to sit in the garden in the summer with a nice refreshing glass of cider.
Tony BFantastic modern pub/ restaurant, run by Thatchers. The food is very good and well priced. The staff are friendly and attentive. Of course the reason to really come here is the Thatchers cider, with many of their varieties on tap, and more in bottles. They also serve other brands, such as Guiness, as well as wine. I would definitely recommend the 3 glass flight, giving you the opportunity to try a few out!
