Customer experiences
Had a great experience at Pro! Food and experience was awesome and I’ve never had such a fun night with friends. Especially great experience at coat check. I lost my ticket and staff including Riley at coat check put all their efforts into finding it for me. Definitely earns a return visit and 100% recommend to anyone looking for a good time with friends or family!
We stopped in here for a pint, we ended up staying for a few hours. Place got so busy, but was so much fun. Great beers, great wood oven pizzas and awesome staff. The bartender was an awesome guy. He made our evening that much better. If your looking for a great spot to grab a pint and a bite in uptown waterloo, this is the spot!!
Absolutely unacceptable experience at Prohibition Warehouse. If it were not for my friends and I refusing to leave and putting up a fight, my jacket would have been lost completely. After handing in my coat and waiting, the blonde girl working coat check was immediately rude and unprofessional. Instead of helping, she sarcastically said, “Well do you see your jacket?” as if I were somehow behind the counter looking myself. She then blamed me, repeatedly asking if I was sure I didn’t recheck it or implying my friends took it, even though that clearly wasn’t the case. There is literally a camera right there, which they refused to check. She then called for “backup,” another blonde staff member, who unfortunately had the same attitude problem. More accusations, more dismissal, zero accountability. Not once did either of them show concern or take the situation seriously. When the manager finally arrived, I expected some professionalism. Instead, there was no empathy at all, no apology, just making us wait while acting like this wasn’t their issue. Eventually, they found my jacket not where it was checked in, but in some random place. Instead of owning their mistake, they had the nerve to say that I “must have rechecked it,” which is completely false and honestly insulting. Between the rude staff, constant blame, refusal to check cameras, and total lack of accountability, this place was beyond frustrating. Coat check is literally their responsibility, and they failed at it while treating customers terribly. I will not be returning, and I don’t recommend trusting this place with your belongings.
We have visited Prohibition warehouse for my birthday and didn’t disappoint at all. The food tastes awesome and reasonable prices. Once we were there we were immediately helped by the person. As we visited on Wednesday they also have live music on Wednesday which made my experience even more wonderful. They have a patio outdoor with fire, but we decided to sit inside to enjoy the music. You will never regret coming here
