After years of quick pop-ins to First Choice, sidewalk barber shops, and buzzing my hair myself, I went to see Jonno for proper hair cuts when I decided I was growing my hair longer. Jonno always makes my hair look great and styles it to grow properly, so even a few weeks after a cut it’s still shaped perfectly. My wife, who has also gone to Jonno for years, always loves when he helps clean up my scruffy mess. The only thing better than the service is the conversation, Jonno will have you laughing so much in your chair you might think it would be hard for him to work on your hair but he has no trouble doing both. I’d recommend Jonno to anybody, guy or girl, short or long, quick and easy or curly and messy, you’ll always look great after visiting The Parlour.

Not only is Jonno the best hair stylist and artist that you will ever come across (hands down), but as a human being he is top tier. He is kind, funny and professional as well and he truly listens to what you want (re your hair). I have a lot of "hair anxiety" and Jonno knows how to really make you feel comfortable all while leaving The Parlour looking and feeling like your best self. I initially went in for a blonde colouring and Jonno convinced me to go with pastel pink highlights. WHICH I LOVE! He really understands intuitively what each clients needs and wants/ what looks best. You won't be disappointed. Jonno is booked months out, so please make sure you book as soon as possible!

I have been going to see Jonno for over ten years, and he is just like family- considering he does most of my family's hair! He is willing to do bold things with hair but is realistic with you if something won't work. For example, he has never gotten mad at me for switching between platinum blonde and dark brown many times :) You will never have a better time at a hair salon, and you will leave sore from all the laughter!
