We were in the area so decided to give the Local a try. There was a 20 min. wait but we spent it talking to the Jacks Abby beer rep in the game room. I ordered a pulled pork sandwich. In my opinion it was a bit to saucy but I didn't eat the bun so perhaps that would have cut down on the BBQ sauce. My husband and sister in law both got the ribeye sandwich which they enjoyed. The Local had some good beers on tap which I regretted not getting after I received my blackberry martini. It was super sweet and syrupy. You can see how dark and thick the drink is from my picture. They did have some creative drinks on their menu. The service was good. They had live music playing in the bar area but we couldn't hear it in our room. I wouldn't have minded but I'm sure others would be happy to know it doesn't get super loud in the dining rooms.

I came here with my girlfriend for a date, drawn in by high hopes, a great-looking menu, and a very inviting exterior—only to end up experiencing a nightmare of a dinner. To start, the dining room was empty but still dirty, with food scattered on the floor. The appetizer plates that were already set on the table were also unclean. Our appetizer—steak and cheese egg rolls—was the highlight of the evening, absolutely delicious and the only redeeming part of the meal. However, between the appetizer and our entrees, we could clearly hear the waitstaff complaining about another couple across the room. On top of that, they shared an extremely unappetizing story involving dog droppings. While some conversation among staff is understandable, loudly talking just outside the kitchen where diners can hear every word is completely unprofessional. When our food finally arrived, I had the chicken sandwich with onion rings. While the onion rings had a great texture, they were completely flavorless. The sandwich itself consisted of a few pieces of chicken pounded so thin they had the texture of jerky. My girlfriend ordered a burger with tater tots. The tots were great, but the burger was bland and soggy. The mac & Cheese tasted like a frozen meal. To top off the night, our server oddly addressed my girlfriend by name after reading it off her credit card, which felt intrusive and just plain strange.

A nice hidden gem in Sandwich. It looks more like a pub than a tavern but is family friendly. The drinks were very good and the food was great. Try the pulled pork sandwich, it's big and delicious. The pizzas were very tasty and made for just you. I got the Buffalo chicken dip to go since I was full but wanted to bring a snack home with me

My friend and I meet here, frequently, for lunch. The service we received today was OUTSTANDING! I usually try a special while she gets the same meal. The special I picked was something that after a taste I knew I would not enjoy. Apologetically, I let the waitress know and asked if I could just get a plain cheese pizza. She was very accommodating, totally understood, and very willingly took my meal and put in for the pizza. To say we were shocked at the bill would be an understatement! The special was taken off the bill, but the pizza wasn't added. I was as insistent as possible asking her to put the pizza on (ate the whole thing) as I fully expected to pay for it. She was just as insistent no, they were doing something nice! I can't remember her name; she wore a high pony tail. I meant to ask to speak to a manger when I was leaving to express my gratitude for the service and the great pizza. Great restaurant with wonderful staff! You made my day! Thank you!
