Customer experiences
My husband and I enjoyed a one-night stay at the Lark & Loon Inn in early September 2025. Kevin and Lesley's welcome was warm and their hospitality genuine. The house is beautifully decorated, and our room and its adjoining bathroom suited us perfectly. It was an easy walk into town and back to obtain dinner. Breakfast was a treat! We were sorry that we'd only given ourselves a short time to travel the Evangeline Trail - Annapolis Royal and the surrounding area looked like they deserved more time.
Highly recommend at least a two nights stay, unfortunately we only stayed one night. We had room no. 4 which was large and beautifully appointed. The whole house is full of history. The hosts Kevin & Lesley are delightful and knowledgeable and helpful. Kevin is like a walking history book and one is in awe at what he remembers. Fascinating. Annapolis Royal is also steeped in history. It is a lovely colourful town with beautiful houses.|Thank you Kevin & Lesley for making our short stay so enjoyable.
This is a beautiful house and full of amazing artefacts, memorabilia and beautiful pottery which was made by the host Kevin. The house is spotless, tastefully decorated and has all amenities required for an enjoyable stay and is only a short walk to the center of town. Kevin and Lesley make you feel right at home and almost part of the family and go the extra mile to make your stay enjoyable. They provide a delicious breakfast, all homemade and even share their family recipes with you. Breakfast time is very enjoyable and not rushed as Kevin and Lesley take time to engage with all the guests and the conversation flows. Kevin is very knowledgeable of the history of the surrounding area and with recommendations for thing to do all over Nova Scotia. I would highly recommend a stay at the Lark and Loon.
Superb Inn and Kevin and his wife were amazing hosts. So helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Breakfasts were wonderful on both mornings that we were there. My husband took away Kevin's grandma's recipe for chocolate scones which were delicious. The room we stayed in was very spacious and comfortable. Annapolis Royal is a lovely town. Nothing negative to say
The Lark & Loon Inn is a bed & breakfast.
