Ate here twice in the four days we were in Hamilton. Very good fish & chips, as well as burgers and lots of other goodies! 2nd visit I had liver & onions, and it was excellent! The wait staff was accommodating without being intrusive. Prices were average, not extreme.

Stopped in for a quick beer and ended up staying for a couple of drinks and an amazing afternoon! The bartender was incredible- so friendly and engaging, and made me feel right at home by bringing me know conversations with other patrons. What started as a quick stop turned into a memorable experience. Thank you Lisa for great service and welcoming atmosphere.

The service, drinks, and food are all the best in Hess. Prices are fair, portions are large, drinks are strong. Servers are very friendly and helpful even when busy. Victoria is the best server in Hamilton. They have daily and weekend specials, and the food is mostly homemade (including the delicious fresh cut fries). The cherry cola cocktail is always good, and there are always good beers on tap besides the usual domestic. Great for a full meal or even a pre or post date spot for a quick cocktail and snack, before a Hess adventure. I'll be back to try the wings!

The fish and chips were drool worthy. Just as good as the fish and chips I had in St. Thomas, Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
