If being close to the interstate is important to you, then this hotel is an excellent choice. You can't get much closer than this. However, if traffic noise is an issue, this property may not be for you. The hotel is just off I-70, and on a road leading to a major truck stop; therefore, there was seemingly constant truck traffic throughout the night. Our room was comfortable, the beds were good, but the showerhead wasn't the type we're accustomed to having at Hampton Inns. Our biggest issue was that we were in a room which could be adjoining with the one next door, and it was NOT at all soundproof. I'm not sure what type of gymnastics were being performed next door, but they were loud. Breakfast was good. We enjoyed the oatmeal, eggs, sausage links, and scones! There were other offerings as well. We only saw one luggage cart during our stay, and even though this is a relatively small Hampton Inn, there should be more than one! Proximity to restaurants is also not optimal as this hotel is on the outskirts of town.

Clean hotel, breakfast was typical Hampton Inn breakfast, great variety of cereal, yogurt, hot breakfast items. Our room was spacious, quiet and clean. Lots of parking available. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. If in area would stay there again.

No way this property deserves a 4 Star rating on reviews. Over priced, hallways were pathetically dirty, breakfast was far below average. Not what I expect from a Hampton Inn, as a 15-year Hilton Diamond member. Front desk staff was very friendly.

We traveled throughout the USA and Canada this summer staying primarily at Hampton Inns by Hilton and this one in Colby is clearly not up to par with other ones. The elevator carpet looked like a football team had a scrimmage on it. Bathroom floor was dirty and the shower knob fell off during my shower. Highway noise was loud with trucks using air brakes as we were on the side facing the highway. There are numerous other hotel options nearby to consider and probably have a better value for the money.
