Lee CockingLovely pub with great character and a friendly atmosphere. Charlie made us feel very welcome and looked after us. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfy and the shower was powerful. The breakfast was delicious and well presented š I would recommend anyone passing through to stay here and take a visit to the bar š» Thank-you Charlie, we wish you all the best in the future. Katie LouWe recently stopped here for a Sunday lunch. Food was lovely, reasonable price and tasty. Staff friendly and attentive. We sat inside but there is a outdoor area too. Very dog friendly, they bought over a dog bowl and a few treats for our pooch and of course she enjoyed some scritches too. We'd return if we were in the area again.

Kevin RobertsLoved this place . Second time staying. Friendly staff and locals. No evening meal this time but takeaway just up the road. Fantastic huge full English at breakfast. Real cozy feel to bar and restaurant. Rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. That's all we needed .
