I wouldn’t recommend this DBT therapy center to anyone who actually needs understanding or compassion. I tried their group therapy for the first time and, because of my extreme social anxiety, I panicked and walked out within 10 minutes. The very next day, I got an email from the scheduler saying I was being discharged for “inconsistencies.” I’d only been in therapy with Sarah for about a month, and that was my first real mistake. No one reached out to ask what happened, or to help me come up with a coping mechanism to make it work, they just dropped me. Before that, we had discussed that two missed sessions would mean discharge, so if anything, this would’ve been considered one miss. I’ve shown up and been on time to every appointment before that. I also didn’t have my DBT book that day, but it’s expensive.. not because I didn’t care. Later, I looked up employee reviews on glassdoor about this place and found one that said they have turned away suicidal patients due to challenges with their insurance, and that the owner only cares about money. That honestly says a lot about their priorities. Do with it what you will.

Susan is incredibly caring, supportive, empathetic and always has great solutions. She always makes you feel at ease and is just such a personable therapist all around. Her office has such a tranquil ambiance, which heightened the relaxation even more for me. I would HIGHLY recommend her!
