I started supporting a girl child’s education through SAF and I feel it’s working towards the cause I am donating for. Periodically, the donors are advised on the status of the children that are sponsored with photographs and letters from the children which is really satisfying and amusing. You can write an email to the child but it is routed through SAF .

This charity does amazing work and they've made themselves very accessible by opening this office in Surrey. This charity helps poverty stricken children and families in India primarily. They have an amazing Educate a Child Program. Very friendly staff, transparent, and willing to spend the time to share lots of information about the charity and the work they do.

My name is Sundeep S. Grewal, I am a second generation Sikh who is a practicing lawyer and I have been providing donations to SAF and sponsoring a child from India. I would encourage any members of the Sangat who are interested in supporting our brothers and sisters in India to use SAF. I have been blown away by the professionalism of SAF in providing updates and ease of access to information. The child donation program is superb as it provides you an opportunity to review the background circumstances of individual children and maintain a line of communication with their family after you become their sponsor. I am also a general donor directly to SAF which uses these funds to carry out seva and assist members of the Sangat from building toilets, funding education, providing medical treatments, etc. If you are looking for an opportunity to make a positive contribution to the Sangat, I highly recommend SAF as the vehicle to carry out Guru's kirpa.
