Our stay at The George Penang was excellent! The room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and the staff were friendly and quick to assist when we had minor issues with the lightbulb and TV.The hotel’s central location is a huge plus, with plenty of food stalls, restaurants, and tourist attractions within walking distance. The only downside was the pool—it’s in a covered area, unheated, and too cold for my daughter to swim.Overall, we were very pleased and will definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

Room was amazing with clean bedsheets and cosy ambience with even a Japanese style bidet in the room toilet! Highly accessible to major tourist attractions even by walking. Staff were friendly and attentive. However, accidentally left my international power plug adapter when I was leaving. Emailed both the group and hotel email over a span of 2 weeks for replies, only to have 1 reply from the group email asking which specific hotel I stayed and no replies after from any parties. Highly disappointed in the managing of lost items and communications.

The rooms were very spacious. Toilets were clean and sanitary supplies were generous. Location is near to alot of good food , mostly walking distance. A good massage is just the corner too! Will definitely return to this hotel for next visit! Thank you, The George Penang!

I am a recent guest who stayed in room 519 of your esteemed hotel. I am writing this letter to provide feedback on the issues I encountered during my stay and to seek your attention and resolution. Between 22:30 and 23:00 last night, I was awakened three times consecutively due to noise coming from the adjacent room. While I understand that the interconnecting design of hotel rooms may lead to such disturbances, the frequency of these interruptions undoubtedly severely impacted my rest quality. Consequently, I proceeded to the front desk at 23:15 and, after half an hour of communication and coordination, the hotel transferred me to room 214. Prior to check-in, I was informed that this room was designated for use by disabled guests, which I had no objections to. However, upon entering the room, I was surprised to find that the bed was not properly made. For a detailed view, please refer to the pictures attached to this letter. Following an urgent response by the hotel staff, the bed was finally properly set up at 00:15 am. I am deeply dissatisfied and disappointed with this accommodation experience. As the hotel management, you may respond to this letter in a polite manner, but I still hope that you will address and take seriously the issues I have raised. In my view, as a crucial component of the service industry, hotels should provide excellent accommodation environments and attentive service. In this incident, neither the noise disturbance nor the unmade bed met my expectations of hotel service.
