The inn is cute and well located. If not for the following it would have been a good experience. We were on the third floor and the gables caused the ceiling to be very low in places. The wiring for the bedside lamps was faulty. My husband’s bedside light was not working and he ended up standing up in the dark room and bashed his head on the low ceiling. The owner told me the lights often don’t work because of where the plugs are located - they usually check the them before each guest but they must have forgotten that day. And they have no control over the slope of the ceiling! Yes, things happen, but I would have expected a bit more kindness and apology from the owner of the inn. If you stay here I would recommend a second floor room.

My spouse and I came to Annapolis Royal for a wedding and spent one night at the inn. We were pleasantly surprised by the charm of the historic building with its antique interior, providing us with a rare experience and a lovely night. Unfortunately, we had to sleep in and missed breakfast, but the room we had was cozy so we regret nothing. The staff was very welcoming and accommodating. The parking and the location were also appreciated, and since we haven't tried the food, we have a reason to return in the future.

My experience at the Inn was not great. Although the beds were comfortable, and the was room clean, the restaurant was closed last minute for dinner, and the breakfast was only one option... fried eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, etc. No healthier option was available. Also, I would recommend a real ice machine, not tiny ice cube trays in a communal mini fridge on the first floor. But, a great location for walking around the waterfront.

We stumbled upon this hidden gem in Annapolis Royal and had such an amazing stay. The location can’t be beat as it is within walking distance to the bay. The room was comfortable and the breakfast, just so delicious. I only wish we had been there when the kitchen was open as I am sure the dinner there will be delectable. HighLy recommend this place!
