Gemma HigsonWe used to frequent here when it was the Oyster & Otter. The carpark was FULL so had to park off site, but it's not because it's small... just many people inside. We were sat at our table and told to order at the bar when we were ready... considering we had to do that, there were only 2 staff on the bar, so the service was slightly delayed in getting drinks (which we had to pour ourselves, because we ordered nonalcoholic beers). The food was nice... not amazing, just nice.... there was plenty of it. I think for the prices of the food, that table service would have been within that price, as other establishments who have relatively the same price bracket offer this.... which also means no queues at the bar area too. So it was ok/nice, but i wouldn't come again. Other people will love it, and clearly do.. the place was packed....

Jennifer Murray3 of us ordered the Lite Lunch soup and sandwich (beef brisket melt) served with a pot of beef dripping gravy and skin on fries well worth £12.95 absolutely delicious. Great service and professional friendly staff. Will be returning very soon .
UGLY CLUBThe food here is absolutely banging and the staff are great - I’ve had a few meals here now and it’s like hearty pub grub meets swanky restaurant. Huge portions too
