I cannot recommend Dr. Shaan Desai and his team highly enough! I was long overdue for a cleaning because I tend to put off dental visits due to anxiety, but this experience completely put me at ease. From the moment I walked in, everyone was kind, patient, and reassuring. Dr. Desai took the time to explain everything clearly, and his gentle, caring approach made all the difference. The office itself feels calm and welcoming, and the entire staff goes above and beyond to make sure you’re comfortable every step of the way. I finally feel confident keeping up with regular visits thanks to this wonderful team. If you have any hesitation about going to the dentist, this is the place to go!

I just had two crowns done at the Dental Lounge in Iowa City and I can honestly say that Dr. Desai is everything one would expect from an excellent dentist:   he is caring, accommodating to special needs/requests, and he delivers outstanding dental treatment with zero pain.  I have also been impressed with his team.  Stacey is a superb dental hygienist who combines expertise with a delightful personality; and the receptionist, Nicole, is more resourceful and knowledgeable about dental insurances than any receptionist I have encountered in my fifty-some years of experience.  --Takis
