M KRecently I had my 2018 Audi RS5 remapped by Celtic Tuning, but I had to have the car flashed back to stock with a full refund a few weeks later. The remapped RS5 wasnāt running properly after cold-starting, the IAT sensor was reading -40 degrees on startup which caused the revs to āhuntā up and down by throwing huge amounts of fuel into the engine on a cold start. Celtic sent someone out to try and diagnose the issue the following week. After several hours on the second visit, the Celtic software team still couldnāt figure out what the issue was on my RS5, they just kept flashing different files to my ECU hoping that one of them would work, but they were all the same. After trying at least 4 different files, and after 2 visits, I gave up, and asked for a refund. My car was flashed back to stock on the 3rd visit, and now it cold-starts perfectly again! I asked for the manager to call me after the 2nd visit to explain whatās going on and to find out what the next steps would be, but I never received a call. Both techs who initially visited me were in a rush the whole time - one of them even left a test map on my car at one point and then drove away, because he was so keen to finish work early! - luckily he came back! Overall my experience with Celtic Tuning was poor, and Iāll never use them again. If you own a B9 Audi RS5, donāt get it remapped by this company.
Phil gJust had a chip upgrade on my car. Henry the installer was polite, friendly and new so much about the technical stuff. Celtic tuning is the place to go for engine chip upgrades. Thanks again Henry for all you help on the insulation.
James FaulderMercedes 2012 C250 CDI AMG Sport... Decided to go for a Stage 1 Remap as I've owned the car for 3 years. It was already a great drive with fantastic fuel economy but the extra power makes it so much more fun. Not sure yet about any difference in fuel economy but the improved acceleration and torque is outstanding. This is the second time I've used Celtic Tuning as they remapped my previous 2009 Astra1.9CDTI. Pretty sure they'll probably do my next car aswell....
