Customer experiences
We visited Gaia Urban Eatery solely to indulge in their desserts. I opted for the vegan carrot cake, while my boyfriend chose the brownie. The carrot cake was incredibly delicious and perfectly sweet, unlike the brownie, which my boyfriend found a bit bland. The friendly and welcoming staff further enhanced the overall pleasant experience.
We had lunch at Gaia’s Urban Eatery today and unfortunately were quite disappointed. • The Southwestern Cobb Salad arrived without any dressing and we had to ask for it. • The Gaia’s Ramen was just average. • We ordered two Veggie Stir Frys for our kids (7 and 10), but they came out extremely spicy. The kids couldn’t eat them, and when we asked, we were told it was because of the stock sauce. This really shouldn’t have been the case for a simple veggie stir fry. They ended up replacing it with veggie hotdogs, which wasn’t what we were aiming for. Overall, we left feeling deceived and disappointed, since we had really been looking forward to a nice vegan lunch together.
Went here three times during our four day stay in PEI. Very delicious vegan food. The loaded vegan burger is one of the best vegan burger I’ve had (very close to a real burger, even the cheese) and the poutine with pulled bbq mushroom was just incredible! It filled the craving I had for poutine for a long time. Everything is also reasonably priced. Jinal served us each time. She was very friendly and we had a nice chat on our last day. Would definitely come back to Gaia’s again when we return to Charlottetown!
Really convenient location downtown, friendly folks working. I popped in to pick up a Furious Falafel Bowl and it was made fresh to order. So delicious. I especially loved the pickled turnips and banana peppers, so much flavour. I’ll definitely be back to try out more of their great vegetarian offers.
