They set up everything and helped me stay within budget, all with less than a week's notice. When planning from out of state, I really appreciated all the guidance and detailed support they provided. It’s a favorite of mine, and of other locals. They offer specials each night of the week, and the fried chicken on Wednesday and the scallops on Friday are always delicious and very popular. If you want to try the fried chicken, don’t be shy about ordering when you are seated. Great bar and wine list, too!

The service at The Bistro was outstanding, with exceptionally friendly bartenders who crafted unique and well-balanced cocktails—kudos to them for their skill and hospitality. However, the food was less impressive. Seeing frozen French fries arrive at the table was disappointing, and even worse, they were undercooked and limp. The oysters were fresh, and their vinegar sauce had a nice tang, but the lack of hot sauce or crackers felt like an oversight. While the environment is pleasant, dining is ultimately about the food, and in that regard, The Bistro was pretty underwhelming.
