Called at 8 only to be told they won't make appointments over the phone anymore and that I had to go through the ridiculous process of filling out a form online, then to be told to just visit my pharmacist and there are no appointments available for 2 weeks and they wonder why A&E is so busy

Cath CathGot told to phone up for a repeat prescription the next time one was needed as it was a certain medication. For my very poorly son who due to a misdiagnosis of eczema despite being informed of his pituitary tumour has wasted three years and become even iller due to misdiagnosis so is unable to sort this out himself. These policies the surgery has directly impacts those who are unable to use the internet or walk to the surgery themselves. And after waiting 45 minutes just to speak to someone is also poor performance. People do not fit into neat little boxes and policies should have room or have employees who can identify when rules don’t need following. Absolutely appalling service that doesn’t take into differing needs
Peter DickinsonCannot fault the Chorley Surgery. All the staff are very friendly, kind and helpful. The Receptionists always go the extra mile, nothing is too much trouble and the Nurse Practitioners and GPs are excellent, you feel as if they genuinely care. Really pleased with the way the new online appointment system and NHS app is working, it made it very easy to arrange appointments for me and my husband.
