They are amazing, I rented some suits to protect me from the cold on my excursion to see the Northern Lights, the suits worked perfectly, and they protected me very well from the cold. The customer service is excellent, I had problems with the flight and it was delayed so I couldn't make it to my original reservation for the excursion, however, I contacted them and they were able to change the date on which I had to return the clothes so I could go on my excursion. I am very grateful and I highly recommend them.

I highly recommend this place. The clothes were pre-packed, clean, and smelled nice. Since my child was between sizes, we were able to try them on and easily exchange them, which was very convenient. The owner was very kind, and we were able to get a discount by booking online in advance. Most importantly, the winter gear was extremely warm and served its purpose perfectly

Being from out of town, we needed to rent bear spray for our backpacking trip and appreciated being able to do so in Whitehorse. The folks at the BASE Outdoor Rentals are super friendly and great communicators. They even let us pick up and drop off our gear when on days their shop is closed. Thank you! This facility was remarkedly accommodating as we were coming in off season and they opened up their website to allow rental of bear protection equipment as well as ensure that we could pick it up and drop it off at a 24/7 lock box. Terrific customer service
