Preface to this review - I did not complete a roof with this company but for the right reason. It’s so refreshing to find an honest contractor these days. We live in a house on the Eastside and after the September hail storm we were bombarded with a constant stream of storm chasers knocking at the door. I didn’t think I had any damage from the hail or maybe didn’t believe all the roofers same pitches until a rep from Texas Choice came by a few weeks after the storm. On a whim I decided to let this guy on my roof to check it out. I thought he would quickly pop the ladder up on the roof and automatically tell me I needed a new roof and call the insurance. To my surprise, he took his time and did a full walk around the house and then inspected the roof for 20+ minutes. When he came down he showed me a bunch of photos of the roof and even cleared a little debris off of the roof free of charge. I thought he would tell me to call the insurance for a roof replacement but actually said the roof was in pretty good shape. He showed me a couple pictures of one or two big hail hits to the shingle but said it was nothing to worry about. The biggest surprise was when he emailed me a comprehensive roof report with a dozen or so photos of the roof and recommended a few maintenance tips to extend the life of my existing roof. It’s nice to get honest advice from a contractor when it seemed all others were out to just make a quick buck. Huge value add texas choice! Really appreciated! Thanks again texas choice and Drew for being genuine and helpful. Will definitely use these guys when it comes time to our roof replacement in a few years! We had a 20 yr old roof that got tons of hail damage in the last 2 years. I reached out to my neighbors and they recommended Justin Stidham. He was very easy to work with. When our insurance company refused to do anything about our roof after the first inspection he helped us get a second inspection, and the the insurance company is covering costs to replace the whole roof. Grateful for Justin’s expertise & perseverance.
