If you're considering using Tech Americas for field service, they post work on Work Market and Field Nation. Create an account and you can post work where you can choose technicians for your projects. I was giving them a chance to prove themselves as worthy to do work for, but they failed to tell us our two techs for a week ticket was canceled two weeks ago. This may be because they weren't told by the company above them; which wasn't the end client either. We arrived onsite, and they canceled upon check-in. They offered an hour per tech with NO TRAVEL. I requested to be removed as a vendor.

Edit as of 12/2/23: Tech-Americas is not a company which values contract workers and technicians. It took nearly 2 months for me to receive payment from them even though the work was performed successfully and paperwork submitted in a timely manner. Their communication practices are abysmal, I urge any contractor considering work from this company to run the other way. I can see that they have attempted to game their Google reviews by having several of their own employees give the company 5-stars. Please look at the real reviews farther down and you will see my experience seems to be the standard. Original review below: Contractors beware! Do not take work from this company. I have gone through two weeks of attempting to contact their billing department, but I always get an automated message that no one is available. I left several messages but never received a return call. When I finally started calling their dispatch I was given the run around. Managers were always in meetings or the "person" that handles billing stepped away. I've been given promises of calls back, but never received them. I was given a promise of payment yesterday evening or this afternoon "at the latest". Now I can't get in contact with anyone at the company at all, several attempts in and I just get hung up on. I think at this point anyone who takes work from them should ensure that they have a good attorney so they can collect payment.

Do not contract for these company if you believe you should get paid with in the agreed upon time. I have 2 outstanding work order pending payment a week past due. Talking to Rebeca Ramos in accounting has not helped. This will make a total of 4 work orders that have been late in payment. They will no longer be getting the services of this field engineer with over 30 years experience.
