I’ll be honest, in the past I have had some minor issues however they were dealt with promptly. Ideally those issues shouldn’t have happened but we are all human. I’ve been with this particular branch for 12 years and with the nbc for 20 years. I was concerned with loosing my financial advisor to retirement and fortunately I am very pleased with the replacement I currently have. Jerome is very kind, knowledgeable, honest and goes over everything thoroughly. He is very easy to communicate with and makes sure you are confident in your investment strategies. At this time I am very happy with the service I am receiving.

The simple process of changing my dad’s address for his credit card statement (with a legal Power of Attorney document in hand) turned into a long ridiculous procedure. 2 hours later and 2 trips downtown I will find out if it is approved later this week. Not a user friendly bank at all. If you are looking for a bank, do yourself a favor and don’t choose this one!

If I could give less than 1 star I would. After my mom passed away the branch still hasn't transferred the funds even after signing papers & providing all the documents, it has been 10 months & still not transferred. Jerome Bautista won't return multiple phone calls or emails, even the manager Preeti Sharma didn't follow up to make sure it was dealt with after speaking with her one the phone. Extremely frustrating especially after having to travel to a different city because they wouldn't allow anything done remotely like other institutions did.

Horrible service! Regret banking here. Documents sent to us in French by accident from the branch. I called the branch to ask if they could be sent in English. The girl at the front desk did not even bother asking our name! She just put me on hold and came back and told me to call a 1800 number. I said thank you and called. People at the 1800 number said branch needs to deal with this. Branch was unable to help us. Just awesome... closing out our mortgage and we have no clue what the documents say. Excellent!! Chew on that for a minute. Don't bank here. Staff are unhelpful with MINOR issues. Imagine if you had an ACTUAL problem! Yikes!
