I have never eaten nor ordered from here before. I considered calling in but figured the response would be that’s how we always make things. Or deaf ears. It was atrocious! I’m sorry. We got a shrimp scampi meal and chicken with Greek sauce. The scampi was strong with lemon which I love lemon but this was tasting of almost only lemon. I realized there’s lemon pepper in it. I’m sorry I love lemon pepper but not in a scampi. Very much just liquid. Didn’t see garlic. No flouring. Taste of butter. Shrimp was small and overcooked to being tough and chewy. The soup wasn’t bad but spilled all over the bag. Fries tasted like reheated fries. Not just got cold while being delivered. Fairly salty. Gravy was fine. Chicken was good. Though I ordered the one with a sauce and there was no sauce. Baked potato was two tiny potatoes but they were ok. A sneeze of green onions but ok for sour cream and bacon. Veggies Al dente with a Greek taste. Not bad. But the ceasar salad!!!! Don’t do it!!! $4 extra. It was HORRIBLE! It’s the dressing. Can taste mayo. My friend says mustard. Has a mild kick. Strong zing from possible mustard and vinegar. We paid enough so choked down what we could. I tried removing sauce. I couldn’t eat it all. It was not good. I don’t know if this pics give it justice. Never again!

Very disappointed. First of all I thought it was the old David's restaurant from 10 years ago..then I get there and there are 2 menus. Which was confusing just make up 1 menu. But I used to eat at Venice house on 33rd in the 80's and 90's. I enjoyed the food there so o.k. I'll start by saying the good. My drinks were 3 bucks each and with that you can order 8 wings for 3 bucks each. The wings were great the dry ribs were great. Do not order the Ceasars salad it's horrendous, I have worked in many restaurants and think they were attempting to make the original ceasar dressing with the raw eggs and failed miserably it tastes like Dijon dressing. My scrimp scampi was not that it was a bowl of shrimp in oil ,lemon and Italian seasoning. Yuck. Garlic toast was a piece of thin bread that tasted disgusting even in the old Venice house it was French bread and it was good .not sure what's going on here. But if you want wing, ribs and cheap drinks the game s and good service definitely go.

I stopped in for the first time today. I had the $8.99 breakfast special. It was good, and I can't remember the last time I've had breakfast at a restaurant for anywhere near that price. The atmosphere is pretty nice - it looks like they must have renovated the space somewhat recently. The service was quick and friendly.

We had the lasagna and chicken bacon swiss burger. Lasagna was not good. Looked and tasted like it was made with condensed tomato soup. Garlic toast was nasty....can't explain flavour it was like it was made with rancid margarine. I could only eat 3 bites. The burger was disappointing. It had a small piece of chicken and 1 strip of bacon that was cut in half,a small amount of cheese lettuce and tomato. The macaroni salad was bland, and the gravy was standard packet gravy. The fries were the only ok thing about the meal. The service was pleasant. Will not be back. This is by far the worst meals we have had in Saskatoon. Considering what we were presented as food, they shouldn't last much longer in business.
