Very bad customer service, parts department person was very rude.

Shockingly bad customer service. They made a minor mistake on a repair, then fixed the mistake, then proceeded to call and email me several times to insist no mistake had ever been made. For what purpose? Unclear. To answer the shop’s response below, here’s the series of events: 1. I purchased a battery cover that, according to the parts catalogue, fits my truck. I attempted to install it but had to force it into place. It did not fit. 2. I brought the truck in and explained to the person booking the work that the part from the catalogue did not fit properly. I asked the shop to have a mechanic investigate why the part was not fitting properly. 3. The mechanic called me during the job. I explained the part from the catalogue was not fitting properly. I didn’t know if the catalogue was wrong or if something else was going on, but needed him to figure it out. 4. A staff member of mine picked up the truck. I saw that the mechanic had simply taken the exact same part I got before and simply forced it into place. Over the course of a couple days’ of driving, one corner of the cover popped out of place. 5. I called the shop and got the service manager. He insisted nothing could be wrong because the part was from the catalogue. 6. I brought the truck back. A new mechanic wire was pushing up against the cover, preventing it from fitting properly. The wire was relocated, enabling the cover to fit properly. In other words, they finally did what should have been done back in step 2. 7. Isuzu called me to ask me about my experience. I told them it was bad because the shop was disorganized. 8. In response to my review, the service manager pestered me with a series of angry calls, telling me no mistake had ever been made. 9. The shop manager then sent an angry email, also insisting no mistake had ever been made. He blamed the fabricator who built the body and installed the battery, but this is a moot point; the issue was that I asked them to fit the part properly and instead of doing this, the mechanic forced it into place. The shop suffers from persistent issues with poor communications and management. I bought an Isuzu NRR from them back in 2020, which was delivered without a hitch because the salesman forgot to tell the body builder to install one. Upon bringing the truck in for routine service, the service manager told me that an oil change was covered under my warranty. After the work was done, I received angry emails and calls insisting it was not and I would have to pay. I refused, as I am not responsible for their internal communication errors. More recently, brought the truck in and an oil change was included in the warranty. There are more organized shops, like Rush, that actually own up to their mistakes. Avoid these guys at all costs.

As an owner operator trying to make it in the trucking industry with one truck there’s a plethora of headaches. I feel the service department understands this challenge and try their best to help the little guy. Who knows maybe that little guy will grow one day and do big things! They’re respectful and helpful. Special shout out to Barry and Stephanie! Thank you
