I’ll be completely honest. I wasn’t expecting much from a Motel 6. That being said, this is hands down miles better than any Motel 6 I’ve ever seen. They had on site guest laundry at a reasonable price ($2.00 per wash and $2.00 dry). Housekeeping checked on us daily to accommodate any needs. It’s super close (walking distance) to multiple food options. It has a dedicated lot for trucks or vehicles pulling trailers within view distance of one whole side of the building. I’ll be completely transparent, the AC worked great but clearly has seen better days (pic below). The walls could’ve used cleaning but the floors, bathroom, sink, toilet were all spotless. I even brought my own Swiffer and went over the entire floor and was shocked that it was actually clean. They have a combination of smoking and non smoking rooms. The smoke smell is pretty obvious in the hallways, but the room fine. I couldn’t smell it at all. There were no burns in the curtains/bedsheets, pristine and stain free. I did an extensive bedbug and no evidence was found.

Looks like it has been recently updated or remodeled. Our room was neat and clean with everything stocked. They do separate the smoking rooms from the nonsmoking rooms - by wing not just the hallways. |Here is what irked me; if you want to know what time your guests will be checking in - ask them when they book. Nope, I got a phone call as I’m driving 75mph down 65 asking what time we’ll be there. I’m on the second leg of a 14hr road trip; I’ll be there when I get there. |The second thing is: most hotels/motels I have stayed in will give you a wake up call if you request one or some even ask if you would like one. I did not request one and they did not ask. I have my phone alarm set and no I don’t want you bothering us. So, there I am enjoying my coffee and letting my husband sleep until 10am - a full hour before checkout time and the room phone starts ringing at 10 minutes to 10am. This woke him up and irritated me. Neither of us answered. A few minutes later, 9:55am, there’s a knock on the door. It’s an employee and she is “reminding” us that checkout is at 11. I looked at her and said it’s 9:55am. Now I’m really mad. I’m not a morning person in the sense that I like to spend my first 1/2 hour or so awake being left alone. I’m also every bit of 46yrs old and have navigated alarms and being on time thus far. Maybe this isn’t true for every guest, but then ask them if they would like a wake up call instead of pestering every single guest who paid to stay there. There was no Do Not Disturb sign that we could find in the room either.

Not what I expected. I was only spending a night passing through. Since it was only one night I just found the most inexpensive one. It was a typical nice lobby. The young man working the counter was friendly professional and to the point. So far it was what I expected. But I was blown away how nice the room was. BIG TV, nice hardwood floors, and it was clean, very clean. The first thing I did was look for plug ins. Lots of usb plug ins around the room. It had a microwave and refrigerator. The bed was so comfortable. I got a good nights sleep. I was expecting a decent hotel for the price. But I got beyond what I paid as far as a room goes. I will definitely On my way! back and stay here.

The rooms was very clean & nice Beds, Bathroom was clean with towels. I only had a issue with how ever crack room window while I was sleep at 3:45 Am. Is like a not safe place wake with stranger in room. I was up from the creak sound report it & just find some else safer to be at motels.
