👍👍 up to owner Keith Storerau who was managing the front desk upon on arrival and departure. He was welcoming, kind and helpful in meeting all of our expectations after a long day's road trip. I highly recommend this Motel 6 to anyone needing a place to stay along this I-80 route.

I stay at several Motel 6s when I drive across the country every summer with my cats. There are some that I will no longer stay at, but this one in Avoca is one of the best in the country, at least along I-80. It is clean and quiet, everything works, nice people running things, and I've never had any problems here. Unfortunately, many other Motel 6s have declined, but the in Avoca retains high standards for the customers.

The only reason I didn’t give the room 5 stars is because the toilet ran on and off all night. Otherwise this was a 5 star stop. I have been traveling back and forth from Wisconsin to Colorado for 12 years now and this is the best overnight stop I’ve ever had! The front desk was super friendly even though it was after 11pm. Morning staff was just as nice. Large, clean room. I recommend stopping here if you are on I80!

Hotel is well off the highway. No noise. Very quiet rooms are quite comfortable. Good TV. Lots of channels. The owner is very pleasant and helpful. I will stay here again! Also had a grill and lounge. Hope he gets it going again!
