I have had a great anxiety about dentists, due to weight gain and a bit of claustrophobia too. But Katie Lieberman did an excellent job as a hygienist and helped me through it with alternatives, great patience and kindness. I think I have finally broken through those fears, thanks to her. Cheers!

Came in today to finish my cleaning from last week that I rescheduled because the hygienist was so messy last week. I’ll never come back again. I’ve been coming here for 18 years, had never had one issue and a lot of the hygienist and staff are my friends. However today I met Kelly and she was awful. I never leave reviews like this but damn she was mean. Not kind at all. She was upset she had to finish somebody else’s cleaning. She repeated herself six times like I had some kind of issue and didn’t understand the first time. We employ a lot of families and we will be cancelling everyone’s Kaiser dental plan because we would never want our employees or families to encounter this kind of service.

I had another wonderful appointment with Dr Tara Paluska and her amazing assistant (who I am embarrassed to say, I forgot her name) Dr. Paluska has an incredibly patient, caring manner. I’ve seen many dentists over the years and she is a clear standout. I suffered from as severe case of dental anxiety as you can have, brought on by 2 separate dental visits (not a Kaiser dentist) where I was given local with epinephrine even though it is red flagged in my file with them. Those were both very traumatic experiences and they scared me off dentistry for a long time. Dr. Paluska has rolled back years of that anxiety in 2 visits. Her calm, kind manner and willingness to show me the safe local we were going to be using to numb me, even though I hadn’t asked. That is above and beyond. Truly a one of a kind gem you have in your dental department.

Dr. Bowman is an amazing periodontist! She recently performed my gum graft surgery, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. She made me feel completely comfortable throughout the entire process, and it was clear she is a master at her craft. The graft was perfect, everything healed beautifully, and I’m so thankful for her skill and care. I highly recommend Dr. Bowman to anyone in need of periodontal work!
