Customer experiences
The hospital cafeteria served fresh and affordable food.
If I could I'd give them 0 stars. I feel like it's a red flag even their employees go out of town to see doctors. I can say different for Mcpherson but for Marion it must be true what they say.. good doctors don't work in small town hospitals. I took my 4 year old to the clinic multiple times to get checked out and they prescribed her meds that come to find out from a different doctor out of town she didn't need. I just recently took my 5 month old who was born premature in with a temp and testing positive for covid to the er. No one was there except us and they made me wait in the waiting room while she was puking and crying. They could of atleast given us a room before they threw their paperwork in my face. Not only did the nurse take her time to walk us in to our room I could hear them talking rudely about me. I will never take my children to this hospital again. And I definitely wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Especially if you have major health conditions.
I had five stars there until today. The ER has always been awesome they are fast and caring. My problem is I called today and spoke to 'Deb'? The operator and she was snotty rude and condescending. I was simply asking if anyone there was able to schedule appointments for a satellite clinic. It seemed to me a fairly simple 'yes or no' question. I give the E.R ten starts and this operator lady negative give stars.
i would not have even given them one star really this hospital almost took my husbands life on December-2-2021 they released my husband after 6 hours of sitting in there emergency room with symptoms of slured words he went numb on his right side his face was drooped hmm maybe stroke? guess what when my husband was released i had him go to Newton hospital where he was admitted for a STROKE his golden hour was gone for helping him it should not have got that bad so maybe train the nurses on what to look for when someone else comes in with them symptoms so either they can help them or transfer them to someone who can. keeping him for 6 hours and not doing anything could have cost him his life
